About Ferrum Artem
Built By SomeoneWho's Been On The Floor
Ferrum Artem didn’t start with a business plan. It started with 30 years of knowing exactly what a fabricator needs when he opens a drawing package — and what makes him stop production to call the engineer back.
Our founder trained in mechanical drafting design at trade school before spending decades inside manufacturing environments, learning not just how to draw parts, but how parts are actually made. That distinction matters more than most clients realize — a drafter who has never touched a plasma cutter draws differently than one who has.
Ferrum Artem LLC was founded to bring that level of manufacturing-informed drafting to small and mid-size businesses — fabricators, architects, product companies, and builders who need professional CAD work without the overhead of an in-house engineering team.
We work remotely and serve clients nationally, but our roots are in the Denver Metro area — the fabrication shops, custom steel contractors, and architecture firms along the Front Range and up into the mountains.

The ToolsBehind the Work
We work in the software your project requires — not the software we happen to own. With 30+ years of manufacturing experience, we’ve developed fluency across the full spectrum of CAD and BIM platforms used in fabrication, architecture, and product design.
Our primary platform is AutoDesk Inventor for 3D mechanical modeling and manufacturing drawings. For architectural and BIM work, we use AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, and Vectorworks depending on what your team or jurisdiction requires.
All file delivery formats are negotiated upfront — native files, neutral formats (STEP, IGES, DXF), or PDF packages. We don’t charge extra to export to the format you need.
